Gorgeous, elegant, handmade natural sand dollar necklace with matching earring set. The sand dollars are real and are painted in iridescent white pearl. They are accented with silver obsidian beads that make this set absolutely stunning set in silver. For those familiar with crystals, obsidian is known as a protective stone. it is often used to ward off negative energy. The pendant (approximately 1.5" across) is set on an 18", anti-tarnish stainless steel silver chain that sparkles in the light. Multiple sizes of chain are available. If you like this but it isn't exactly the size, color or type of beads you are looking for, don't hesitate to contact me. Custom orders are more than welcome! The set is also available in gold, with the same style chain. Please just send me a message or note that you would prefer gold in the comments (see last pic for gold chain) The sand dollars on the earrings are approximately 1" across. This set makes a lovely gift for yourself or that beach lover in your life. The sand dollars are treated multiple times to harden them, but they are still very delicate and care must be taken with them. They should not be exposed to water. The findings are reinforced with jewelry glue to ensure they do not come apart, and the tops of the sand dollars are reinforced as well. I recommend storing these pieces in their plastic bags when they are not being worn. These sets are made to order, and because of the multiple treatments take a few days. Please allow 3-5 days from order to shipping time. These are natural sand dollars that I have collected on the shores of SW Florida; however, I never participate in live shelling, as that is unethical and illegal.
