Sea glass starfish wall hanging in blue, aqua, turquoise and white, with a starfish and sand dollar accent in the middle. This stunning starfish wall art is 12"x12" and is the perfect addition to your beach house decor, or would make a beautiful beach wedding or housewarming gift for that beach lover in your life. The wooden starfish is first painted white both front and back for a more finished look. Then the sea glass is painstakingly laid out like a puzzle and added in 3 separate layers. This is not genuine sea glass, as I use too much in my work to be able to find it all myself. however, it is tumbled by me to give it more of an authentic, smooth sea glass look. The starfish has two D-ring hooks mounted on the back, which gives you the flexibility to hang it in different poses. Some shells have natural defects. That is the nature of using hand collected shells for crafting. No shells are ever live harvested for my artwork. Sea stars are purchased, as they are extremely difficult to find in nature. Industrial strength glue is utilized and should last a very long time. If a shell or piece of glass happens to come loose, it can be glued back on using super glue.
