They are accented with real amethyst beads and the necklace also includes a freshwater pearl. The sand dollars are treated multiple times to harden them, but they are still very delicate and extra care must be taken with them. They should not be exposed to water. The findings are reinforced with jewelry glue to ensure they do not come apart, and the tops of the sand dollars are reinforced as well. I recommend storing these pieces in their plastic bags when they are not being worn. These sets are made to order, and because of the multiple treatments take a couple of days. Please allow 3-5 days from order to shipping time.
